  • Built to last: Black powder coated steel resists rust and supports up to 300 lbs.
  • Fits standard installs: Mounting bracket is 25-1/2" wide x 9-3/4" tall x 12" deep.
  • Comfortable climb: Two 24-1/4" wide x 8-1/4" deep steps with 7" drop/rise suit 21-1/2"–24-1/2" entry heights.
  • Simple to mount: Bolts or welds directly to RV frame in place of original step.

Features to know about

Easier Entry Every Time: 7" Drop for a Natural Step Height

Getting in and out feels comfortable with the 7" drop between steps. The two 24-1/4" wide x 8-1/4" deep treads give you solid footing, and the 21-1/2"–24-1/2" entry height matches most standard setups. It’s a simple way to make each climb feel steady instead of a big stretch—great for seniors, kids, or anyone who prefers a more natural step height.

Sure Footing in Wet Weather: Anti-Skid Tread Tape and Drain Channels

Each step surface has anti-skid tread tape that grips shoes even when it’s raining. Built-in water channels and drain holes keep puddles from collecting so you don’t track mud or slip. The design combines traction and drainage to help you stay steady on your feet no matter the weather.

Tough Construction That Lasts: Black Powder-Coated Steel Frame

Made from heavy-gauge steel with a rust-resistant black powder coat, these steps hold up to years of use. The 300 lb capacity means they stay rigid under load without flexing. Reviewers using them daily on work trucks and travel trailers consistently point out how strong they feel.

Quick, One-Hand Operation: Pull Out and Stow Smoothly

The manual pull-out design opens and closes with one hand, so you can set up or pack up in seconds. A built-in grab handle keeps your fingers clear of moving parts while you slide the steps in or out. The assembly bolts or welds onto your frame using the same type of mounting as most original steps for a clean, secure fit.

Compact Design for Travel: 25-1/2" Bracket Fits Tight Spaces

The mounting bracket measures 25-1/2" wide x 9-3/4" tall x 12" deep, so it tucks neatly beneath your doorway when retracted. The steps store flat without hanging too low, keeping ground clearance and appearance tidy while you’re on the road.

Bolted right on with only minor adjustment. Works smoothly. Highly recommend.

by:

Replaced the steps on my 2015 20 ‘FB flying cloud airstream. EXACT fit ! Fast shipping. Great communication

by:

This fit our 2017 Winnie Drop. Had to cut a small chunk out but it’s a very solid step. FYI doesn’t come with hardware. We bought the indicated bolts and added lock washers at our local hardware store for $5

by:

Fits perfectly had to drill two 3/8”holes for the bolts but no big deal
Shipping was fast and in good condition when received
Will keep you in my phone when I need other thinks
Thank you
Bill.

by:

I got the steps super fast, very easy to install, and performs as they should.

by:

Quality steps for a great price! I would definitely buy from Etrailer again!! Thank you Etrailer!

by:

Worked for what I needed it for. Installed on Lance 1172 truck camper. Good quality for the price.

by:

Fit great, arrived quickly.

by:

had some trouble installing had to make minor modifications and mounting brackets for existing bolt patern

by:

A good solution for a great price.

by:

It was a replacement for my damaged one. It installed nicely and seems to work just the couple of times used before storing the trailer.

by:

A little more work than I expected to install, but if you need an extra step, it’s worth it. Nice and sturdy product. A few light scuffs right out of the box, but the paint does seem thick and durable.

Went from a single 16” step up to an easier 9” then only 5” after. Really needed it for my wife after her recent back surgery, and it should be easier for my son once he starts walking.

The extra work had me drill the “outriggers” because this set was 1/2” wider than my factory set. I’d have to guess my factory set is some nonstandard brand. Trailer is a 15’ Forest River Wolfpup 16BHS.

by:

Love this pull out step! Replaced our bulky steps that fold up inside the trailer (and track dirt and get in the way) with this handy little step. It's super-sturdy and easy to collapse and pull back out. Had them on for a year now and no rust or corrosion even though camper is parked outside.

by:

Already had rushed down it had to be repainted and the bracket that goes across the bent

by:

Yet to be installed but looks like it will work. Thanks for an easy purchase and quick shipping.

by:

They were a fairly easy install; the attachment points on the trailer had been bent. They fit and worked well.

by:

Great fit works as described very fast shipping
Will purchase futher parts from etrailer

Glad you like it, Dale! I'm sure your passengers are also appreciative! : ) What do you pull it with? Guessing the John Deere in the background of your picture due to the color of the trailer, but I also see a side by side, which would probably make for an interesting ride!

Yes, I pull it with a John Deere 3046R tractor. We usually stay on our hobby farm horse pastures, but occasionally ride through our local neighborhood where we get lots of volunteers to ride with.

I have a 2017 RPod 180 and needed to change the one step to two steps after my wife’s knee replacement this past month. This part seemed to match closer to the current 25 7/8” width of the existing step. These steps are 25 1/2” so needed a few washers to space out. I replaced the 3/8” carriage bolt from 1” long to 1 1/2” long on one side. Reused the original on the other side. To fit this in the space I had to notch the steps at the back to fit around the frame beam. No impact on function. The steps were not fitting up to the current intended notch so I added another notch to lock them in the new position. I set the steps all the way up against the frame. This minimized the reduction in ground clearance as well as reducing the top step rise. It did require drilling new holes in the original supports. Ground clearance is ~9”. Was 10”.

by:

Our replacement travel trailer step arrived quickly. The shipment was easy to track, so I was ready to install it the same day that it arrived. Because of its location on the trailer it was a little awkward for one person so I had my daughter help. Within 20 minutes we had it in place and looking good. Shout out to the representative from etrailer, Ryan was responsive and professional during the sale and follow up. Thank you.

Great Mother Daughter team getting the job done, I love that Lori! New steps look great =) Any big trips coming up that you are looking most forward to?

by:

Product was just what I expected. Fast shipping and easy to install.

by:

Direct replacement for the old Hickory Springs steps. The optional step stabilizer is a nice addition.

by:

Great product, big upgrade from the single step which came on our trailer. I did have to open up the hole in the mounting bracket on my trailer to get the bolt holes to line up. Apparently the single step which I am replacing, had a bolt hole spacing just slightly closer together than this double step does. In the end it mounted well and is very secure.

by:

Once I squared up my outriggers, it fit perfectly on my 1973 Avion trailer. We love it.

by:

It was delivered on time and was just what I ordered.

  • Is it Safe to Use Spacers with Lippert Manual Pull Out Steps
Hi Daniel, great question. You would be fine to use spacers on each side of the Lippert Pull Out steps part # LC432682 for that setup, and I understand wanting to make sure it’s going to feel solid and not give you any issues. A kit like the TorkLift spacer kit part # TLA8020 is a good way to handle that gap since it’s designed for situations where the bracket spacing doesn’t line up perfectly. It includes steel spacer plates and longer 3/8" hardware so everything can be mounted securely...

  • Can Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step LC432682 Replace Kwikee Electric Step On 2011 Fleetwood Tioga?
Hello Will, thanks for reaching out. I looked up the Kwikee 9010000220 online and this does appear to be a 24" wide double step. The Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step # LC432682 can replace this as long as the cutout size or mounting space is at least 25-1/2" wide and 12" deep. As long as your cutout meets this spec, no additional brackets would be needed. The # LC432682 bracket is 25-1/2" wide x 9-3/4" tall x 12" deep so you can measure and verify this matches up on your end.
